Where sport meets a jam packed festival

Bedford running event and MCD Events approached Quantock to take a look at their events overall branding and positioning.

Founded by Mark Draper, a successful British athlete himself, Mark had an ambition to create a unique running event to attract elite, novice and new competitors combined with a family fun running and entertainment festival. Bedford Running Festival is jam-packed with official race distances along with other attractions such as an open air cinema, comedy club, kids club, street food market, live music, wellness classes, running seminars and more.

The event required clarity and redefinition. This was achieved through a name change and the introduction of a brand illustration style which encapsulated each key element of the event. The retro and summer illustration was applied with flexibility and dexterity across all communications.
