We are looking for the right person to join the team, part-time, in a wide ranging role – involving office administration, as well as project and client management responsibilities.

Initially 3-4 days a week at approx 5 hours per day. The role has huge potential to develop in many directions.

You will need to have had at least 5 years previous agency experience, and are looking to get back into that environment.

We are seeking a creative Junior Designer to join our dynamic and talented team in Taunton. As a Junior Designer, you will assist in producing high-quality print and digital design work for our clients across various industries. You will have a solid understanding of design principles and digital design trends and a passion for creating outstanding designs.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the team to create innovative and impactful design solutions for a range of brands and clients.
• Assist in the development of design concepts for print collateral, branding, websites, social media assets, and digital campaigns.
• Create engaging and visually appealing designs that effectively communicate the brand message.
• Ensure all design work is delivered to a high standard and within deadlines.
• Work closely with the marketing and strategy team to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Keep up to date with design trends and emerging technologies, sharing your knowledge with the team and contributing to the agency’s creative output.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in graphic design or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a design role, ideally within an agency environment
• Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and colour theory
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other tools
• Ability to design for multiple platforms, including websites, social media, and email campaigns.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• A passion for producing high-quality work and striving for continuous improvement.
