Celebrating 40 Years of Delice De France

01 | Project Overview

Celebrating 40 Years of Exceptional Taste

For four decades, Délice de France has supplied high-quality frozen bakery products to foodservice and retail businesses across the UK. As the company approached its 40th anniversary, it wanted to refresh one of its most important sales and marketing tools: its flagship product catalogue.

The brief was to create a catalogue worthy of this milestone, one that celebrated the company's heritage and expertise while making it easier than ever for customers to explore an extensive and growing product range. The result would become a key resource for both existing customers and prospective buyers.

The Challenge

With more than a thousand products spanning multiple categories, the catalogue needed to balance celebration with practicality. Customers rely on it as a working document, meaning product codes, nutritional information and allergen details needed to be presented clearly and consistently throughout.

The scale of the project added further complexity. Alongside designing a 250-page catalogue, we needed to manage product photography and create a cohesive visual experience that successfully brought together both new and existing imagery without compromising quality or consistency.

Designing for Clarity at Scale

Our approach focused on creating a catalogue that worked as both a powerful sales tool and a celebration of the Délice de France brand. We began by developing initial creative concepts before rolling the approved design system across every section of the publication.

Clarity was at the heart of every decision. We introduced a structured navigation system, clear section breaks and an intuitive tabbing approach that enabled users to quickly locate product categories and information. This ensured the catalogue remained easy to use despite its substantial size and product volume.

From initial product photography through to final artwork and print production, we managed the entire process. The design balanced heritage and innovation, reflecting Délice de France's 40-year journey while showcasing the quality and variety of its current offering.

03 | The Result

A Catalogue Built to Perform

The final deliverable was a comprehensive 250-page product catalogue that successfully combines functionality, brand storytelling and visual appeal. It gives customers a clear and engaging way to navigate an extensive product range while reinforcing the company's position as a trusted industry leader.

The refreshed design celebrates the Délice de France story without losing sight of its primary purpose as a sales and reference tool. Every element was designed to improve usability, helping customers find information quickly and confidently.

Most importantly, the project demonstrated the value of an end-to-end creative partnership. From photography and art direction through to design, production and print, Quantock delivered a complete solution that transformed a complex product catalogue into a polished, customer-focused marketing asset.
